Crazy, certifiably nuts, flat out looney

…that’s me. Why do I commit to soooooooo many things? I got an email from a fellow volunteer today and he wrote, “Jessica, even if you WERE triplets, there would not nearly be enough of you to go around. :o)” Why do I do so much?

Today:
-6:30am-7:30am, woke up got ready
-7:30am-8am, rode bike to work
-8am-noon, work
-Noon-12:15pm, walk around Lake Bird Lake
-12:15pm-4pm, work
-4pm-4:30pm, ride bike home
-4:30pm-5:00pm, take check for cedar logs out to McKinney Falls
-5:00pm-5:30pm, go home and grab something to eat
-5:30pm-6:15pm, driving and meeting volunteer at KAB’s Tool Shack
-6:15pm-6:30pm, driving
-6:30pm-7:30pm, answering Friends of McKinney Falls emails about workday on Saturday
-7:30pm-7:45pm, travel home
-7:45pm-8:00pm, change clothes
-8:00pm-8:45pm, tennis
-8:45pm-9pm, travel & changing
-9pm-10pm, swimming at Barton Springs
CRASH

And that doesn’t even go into all the things I’m supposed to get done today at work, and the couple of minutes it took me to write this and vent.

I know a lot of it is temporary because I have a couple of big events the next two weekends, but still….WHY?

When I become a genius, I'm going to invent a teleporter. For that's the real issue here. Nearly 3 hours of your day was spent travelling to a place you needed/wanted to be! What a waste. How much easier to press a button and *poof*, reappear at your destination? Shyah.

And while I'm at it, I might become God and change the laws of physics. Bend the rules, don't break them.

P.S. Consider your blog hi-jacked!

I've just realized we should trade places. You need three personalities, and I have them!

Think how much work I could get done if you were me and we, the me's, were three you's!

I actually had a conversation with Cris about the need for physicists to eliminate travel time, but he very astutely pointed out that I'd manage to fill that time up as quickly as it was created for me.

Oh and by the way...just cause you throw in some beatles/physics doesn't mean that you've hi-jacked my blog Mr.Hemingway. ;-) Besides...it's an unfair battle...3-1.

Might be unfair, but I have a feeling you're three times more efficient than I. One of me chews my fingernails, the other clicks and highlights text, while the third painfully types out a semi-lucid message. And just look at the results!
